From my perspective, media should be banned from reporting criminal cases before sentencing. If all parties concerned are under spotlight, it would bring pressure on them so that the final sentence would be influenced to some extent. Besides, it is necessary to protect the privacy of the victims. Too many reports, especially those negative ones, would cause more harm than good.
