Comment on "Survey shows people lack trust in each other" (China Daily, Oct 20)

I have been in China for more than 10 years during which I have lived and worked in five cities. I think many Chinese people cannot trust each other and the reason for that is manyfold.

But one of the reasons is that those who try to help accidents victims sometimes are wronged. Society and the media should provide more support to the good Samaritans and criticize those who try to wrong the good deeds they do.
