Don't take Obama at face value

Comment on "What can we learn from Obama's plan?" (China Daily, May 10)

The history of China's reform and opening-up policy, in general, shows a steady enhancement during the past three decades.

Building a harmonious society requires many tasks to be solved and, as the author has discussed, these tasks definitely include healthcare reform.

I agree with the author on his point about transparency. We, however, can still ask how far Obama's healthcare reform really exhibits transparency.
