Monday marked the end of ticket transfers for the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic Games. The deadline was set at 5 pm Beijing time.
Workers at the ticket branch near the Bank of China Headquarters have completed 180 transfers since June 20th. A total of 26,000 opening ceremony tickets have been sold to Chinese buyers on the mainland. It's still not clear how many have been transferred as of Monday.
The deadline to transfer tickets for the Olympics closing ceremony is July 30th.
