There are many elements, ranging from the ancient times to the modern age, found in the French director Patrice Leconte's Monet-style "Beijing Impression", a five-minute short promotional film presenting daily life in Beijing.
The impressionistic "painting " seems to cover all that Beijing embraces. "Every Beijing resident may see himself in the film," said Chinese film director Zhang Yang, after viewing the Oscar nominee's work.
Like the other four short Olympic promotional films, Beijing Impression made its world premiere on February 28, 2008. About Impression
