BOCOG starts hotel reservations

With about 7 months to go before the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, BOCOG has started working with its contracted hotels to process reservations.
BOCOG has about 30,000 rooms available from its contracted hotels. Five-star hotels average 2,800 yuan per room/per night, which is about 360 US dollars.
According to BOCOG's facts and figures, 17,000 people including athletes and officials from 205 countries and regions will take part in the Games.
This year's Olympics has created a huge demand in the hospitality industry, and has so far attracted 41 international hotel management groups and 67 brand name hotels to the city.
