Shougang group promises less pollution

The Shougang and Tanggang steelmaker groups are building a new production base in Hebei Province in North China, which borders Beijing.
The plant on Caofeidian island is rising up rapidly and is due to be ready in October.
This is the new iron-smelting furnace in Caofeidian's industrial area. Built with the latest technology, its production process promises to be dust free as well as energy-efficient.
