Kunming Hi-Tech Zone has launched a pear flower photograph competition on March 7, inviting local amateur photographers to capture the beauty of spring.

Entries for the competition will have to be sent in by March 31, and have to cover the blooming season for the pear flowers in the Qiumujing Community within the Zone.

Participants and visitors were reported to have already visited the area to photograph the blooming flowers and taste local delicacies.

Those who are interested are invited by officials to follow the official account of the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone on Sina Weibo to view the entries and find out about the competition results.
