Activities were organized in all schools within the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone in recent weeks to enhance the safety awareness during winter holiday among teachers and students.

The bureau of culture and education carefully examined all the campuses within the Zone from Jan 14 to 23 to eliminate hidden dangers such as old wiring and unusable fire protection equipment.

In addition, at the Zone’s request, schools enhanced safety education for their students before the winter holiday through posters, broadcasts and themed class activities, mainly about traffic safety, food safety and theft prevention.

Moreover, joint efforts by families and schools were made to guarantee students’ safety.
