Directors of the Yunnan Gold and Mining Group (YGMG) and Kunming National Hi-Tech Industries Development Zone met on Wednesday to discuss cooperation projects. Wang Minzheng, director of the zone’s administration committee, He Bin, president of YGMG, and departmental directors attended the meeting.

YGMG is the largest gold manufacturing enterprise in Yunnan province. It holds a third of Yunnan's gold reserves, and its production accounts for more than half the total in the province. Its business scope includes mineral resource exploration, mining, mineral smelting and the selling of mineral products and mining rights.

He Bin thanked the Kunming Hi-Tech Zone for its support over the last few years, explained the development background of YGMG and talked about some of the cooperation projects.

Wang Minzheng said he hopes the cooperation projects with YGMG will be done soon. He also promised that Kunming Hi-Tech Zone will build a favorable environment to better serve enterprises in the zone.
