Taiyuan held a seminar focusing on improving people's lives on Nov 2, 2017.
Representatives from all walks of life attended the seminar, discussing plans and methods for reviving Taiyuan. At the seminar, 12 attendees of different ages from various industries, including from the post-1990 and post-2000 generations, delivered themed speeches on the development of the city.
Sponsored by the publicity department of the CPC Taiyuan municipal committee, the seminar marked the launch of a themed event which promotes the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, enhances the public sense of responsibility and encourages more outstanding industrial model workers for Taiyuan and China's new era.
A speech contest, a themed writing competition and a short film (H5) competition are to take place over the next few months.
