Shanxi has decided to improve local politics by strengthening the management of Party cadres during the 13th Five Year Plan (2016-2020).
According to the work report issued during the Party congress, the province will reinforce the rules that local government officials have to observe. As civil servants, cadres in Shanxi should follow the relevant do's and don'ts, and maintain values of loyalty, honesty, and responsibility at all times. The anti-corruption campaign will also continue so as to ensure the highest standards are kept by officials.
Meanwhile, Shanxi will support some local officials in taking the lead in innovation, entrepreneurship and reform in response to the policies enacted by the central government. More able and responsible cadres will be promoted to give them a full role in advancing the development of the northern Chinese province.
