Shanxi province is considering policies to increase graduate employment, according to the province’s human resources and social security department on Sept 5.
Graduates who are disabled, come from families receiving minimum living standard security, or with state-subsidized student loans will receive one-time subsidies for job hunting or starting business.
Companies that employ more than half of their interns receive an extra five percent intern subsidy for every 10 percent over the minimum wage. Those hiring over 80 percent of their interns can receive intern subsidies at the same level of the local minimum wage.
