When a delegation from the Europe Chinese Culture Exhibition Center, in Provins of France, visited Pingyao county, Shanxi province, the delegation and the Pingyao side discussed further cultural communications between Pingyao and France’s Provins, before concluding on Dec 16.
Pingyao and Provins have had a cooperation memorandum since 2002, and, in 2005, became sister cities to share their cultural heritage. They have decided to hold a traditional Chinese Cultural Exhibition early in the new year to celebrate the 9th anniversary of their sister city relationship, in France, to help the French get a feel for the charm of Chinese culture.
