China's Miss Tourism City Annual Championship Finals for 2013 got underway in Datong, on Oct 25, hosted by the Shanxi province Tourism Bureau, Shanxi provincial Tourism Culture Association, Datong municipal tourism bureau and Datong Radio and Television.

This is the world's first fashion event with a city theme, with a grand selection on a global scale, which drew 36 finalists to this old city, which intends to show its charm through a road show, charities and other activities. There were catwalk shows on the first day in succession in front of the ancient city wall and in Huayan Temple Square, a beautiful sight in the bright autumn sunshine, with a group of local belles gracefully walking about, set against magnificent relics. There will also be shows in scenic spots or at various companies and related competitions.
