Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort is staging a series of festivities in its Playa Maya Water Park and Happy Valley, offering an enticing getaway from the summer heat.

In the daytime, visitors can enjoy giant roller coasters and slide into the water like jet-skis or just fit in with the party crowd and dance to the music.

At night, tourists may enjoy eye-catching shows put on by artists from Eastern Europe and South America, taking in a different side of Shanghai Happy Valley. The non-stop summertime party kicked off on July 5 and will run to Sept 1.
