Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort has won the nationwide title of one of the best known model tourist resorts to develop eco-tourism in an urban area.

The project of Shanghai Sheshan was launched in Aug 2013 as an attempt to boost low-carbon tourism. The past three years have witnessed leisure and sports activities including hiking, running, bicycling, camping, and climbing hosted all over the place, allowing the area to progress into a scenic spot for holiday getaways.
