Qingdao Economic & Technological development zone is located in Huangdao district, west part of Jiaozhou Bay.

With a total area of 275 square kilometers, Qingdao Economic & Technological development zone plans to build an international shipping center of Northeast Asia, logistics distribution center of trade, tourism resorts and a modern manufacturing base.

Qingdao Economic & Technological development zone has now established a central area of Tang Island Bay, international logistics trade hub ports (including Free Trade Zone), shipbuilding base, Phoenix Island tourist resorts, port industrial zone, Zhushan National Forest Park, heavy petrochemical industrial zone, New District in northern industrial areas and other industries.
