More than ten industrial clusters have taken shape in Dandong, Liaoning province, according to a conference on industrial clusters held by Liaoning provincial government on July 10.
The present industrial clusters include the auto parts industrial cluster with SG Automotive Group and 518 Internal-Combustion Engine Fittings Co Ltd as the leading enterprises; the instrument and meter industrial cluster dominated by ray instrument companies occupying 80 percent of market share in domestic China; the textile and clothing industrial cluster based on export processing; and the farm and sideline product processing industrial cluster led by Donggang aquatic products.
The auto parts, instrument and meter, and Donggang renewable resources clusters are listed among the Top 100 Liaoning provincial industrial clusters. The main business revenue of the three industrial clusters is expected to achieve 16.8 billion yuan ($2.63 billion), taking up 44 percent of the annual target, a year-on-year increase of 22.9 percent.
