Fenghuang town in Zhangjiagang, a county-level city of Suzhou in Jiangsu province, was honored as one of the most beautiful towns and villages in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Towns and villages in Shanghai city, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces were reviewed. A total of 15 won the honor.

Fenghuang town is home to ecological landscape and distinctive scenic spots featuring well-preserved architecture. It has become a model for Suzhou's 'beautiful town and village' construction.
