Baotou Center Hospital was founded in 1942, with a fixed-asset investment of 670 million yuan ($105.66 million), an area of 70,000 square kilometers and a construction area of 120,000 sq m. It has 1,500 beds, and treats about 450,000 outpatients and 310,000 inpatients every year.
