CEEC: No.1 Gas Turbine of the El Vigia Power Station in Venezuela successfully connected to grid

On July 31 (local time), the No.1 gas turbine of the El Vigia Power Station in Venezuela undertaken by CEEC was successfully connected to the grid.
Located in El Vigia, MERIDA in the west of Venezuela, the project consists of a thermal power station with an installed capacity of 500,000 kilowatts and supporting transmission & transformation projects in 2 phases.
The phase-1 project consists of 2 single-cycle gas turbine generator units with a generating capacity of 400,000 kilowatts; while the phase-2 project is added with waste heat boiler and turbine with the total generating capacity of 570,000 kilowatts.
