A 54-year-old villager in Wuhan, Hubei province, has decided not to get married and instead wants to devote his life to taking care of his 81-year-old mother.
Cai Zhengxiang, who lives in Xindun village in Jiangxia district, has spent much of his time for years helping his bed-ridden mother get through daily life. As the second son of the family, he helped his brothers get married, but chose to stay single to help his mother in case she found herself alone.
Cai said he did so to return the love he received from his mother. His mother, for her part, is worried about her dutiful son's future and hopes that he can get married as soon as possible.
