Nanyang's Deputy Mayor Bai Xiangyang said at the launch ceremony thatThe Medical Sage – Zhang Zhongjing was produced by Dongfeng Runda Culture Media Company. It uses the creative form of a cartoon to promote the brand of Zhang Zhongjing and Nanyang's traditional Chinese medicine industry, and to further facilitate the culture of traditional Chinese medicine.

At the launch ceremony, the officials and guests watched episodes of the cartoon, which were widely praised.
