Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, is a city surrounded by rolling mountains. The city has devoted great effort to increase its urban greenery in recent years to build itself into a city of forests.
The city witnessed an increase in forest coverage from 42.3 percent to 46.5 percent from 2010 to 2016.
