Situated 200 kilometers from the province's capital, Guiyang, Xijiang is a cluster of around 10 villages where the Miao people live.
Their wooden houses look very picturesque at night when the lights are switched on.
The area is also a place to enjoy Miao dances and singing, and to buy handmade silverware.
