Kweichow Moutai Co, the Chinese leading liquor maker, announced on Tuesday that any products with the trademark "Laimou" not produced from the Moutai distillery are fake.
Moutai won a legal dispute over the trademark Laimou, and it warned any infringing competitors to cease using the label on March 15.
By ending the dispute, which has lingered for nearly a decade, Moutai is taking action to stop trademark infringement via legal means.
