Chen Gang, Han ethnic group, was born in April 1965 in Gaoyou city, Jiangsu province. He joined the CPC in December 1986 and began working in August 1990.

 

He holds a master's degree, a Doctor of Science, and a certificate of senior engineer at a professor level.

 

He now serves as member of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou CPC Provincial Committee and secretary of the Guiyang municipal Party Committee.
