In 2012, there were 802 investment projects in Anshun, attracting more than 213.8 billion yuan ($34.4 billion).
The actual funds provided totaled 46.58 billion yuan, an increase of 131.46 percent compared with the previous year.
Since last year, attracting investments has been one of the most important methods to accelerate economic and social development in Anshun. Specific methods include business investment, network investment, entrusted investment promotion and directional investment.
In 2012, Anshun appeared in a series of business events in Beijing, Zhejiang, Guangdong and Hong Kong to attract investment, including the Guizhou-Hong Kong Investment and Trading Week, the China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo and the Pan-PRD Regional Economic and Trading Fair. During the year, Anshun signed 35 projects worth 21.7 billion yuan.
In the 2012 China Guizhou Huangguoshu Waterfall Festival, Anshun signed 15 projects with a total deal value of 8.76 billion yuan.
