The Sopladora Hydropower Station Project in Ecuador has recently come into the crucial time of the first power generation.

The Project Department adopted following measures to ensure that the electricity target of the first generator set will be achieved as scheduled. First of all, the command of generator set trials was established to take all-around responsibility of technical support and service, equipment overhaul, inspection and outside communication and coordination during the commissioning; secondly, the workshop on guaranteeing power generation was held to thoroughly tease out the corresponding job content; thirdly, the communication and coordination with the owner, the supervisor, and relevant power divisions was intensified to build a good exterior environment for the objective realization; last but not least, supporting work was well done including procurement, logistics, vehicles, human resources and so on.

So far, the main body construction has been completed and the first water turbine-generator unit and its major facility have been installed, implicating that debugging enters the final phase.
