An inspection team from the Fujian Provincial Safety Supervision Bureau visited the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone on Jan 16, to inspect measures implemented to guarantee safe production.

The team's tour included stops at various oil depots and fishery vessels and they also checked fire prevention and control measures and road traffic.

The visiting officials gave a positive assessment, but they also urged local producers to enhance safety measures and monitoring during the Spring Festival period.
