Typhoon Soudelor to land in Fujian on Saturday

Typhoon Soudelor is expected to land in coastal areas of Fujian province in the afternoon of August 8, meteorological authorities said on Friday, fjsen.com reported.

Soudelor, the 13th typhoon this year, will land in Taiwan in Aug 7 and will continue to move northwest across the Taiwan Straits to Fujian, according to weather forecasts.

Fujian has issued a Class II emergency alert for Soudelor, which will bring gales and rainstorms.
