The Pingnan branch of the Ningde Highway Bureau put on a flood emergency drill along the provincial Highway S303, on June 26, where an emergency crew got practice improving their ability to tackle emergency situations during the rainy season, such as heavy rainfall, flooding, and landslides. This drill can help the crew members in becoming more efficient in reducing casualties and cutting property loss and in reopening a damaged highway more quickly.
