The hydrogen peroxide project of Rongping Chemical Co Ltd, a key construction project of Fujian Province and a demonstration project for the recycling economy completed construction and started production in September 2010. The total investment in this project is nearly RMB 200 million. It produces 100,000 tons of hydrogen peroxide a year. It may recover the 260 million cubic meters of hydrogen emitted from the current chemical plant to produce hydrogen peroxide. Meanwhile, it may reduce the emission of sulfur dioxide by 540 tons per year and the emission of chlorine by 1.3 tons per year.
