A number of flights at Fujian's Fuzhou, Xiamen, and Quanzhou airports were delayed or cancelled on Jan 23 and 24 due to the cold and snowy weather.

The majority of flights running from Fuzhou to Chongqing and from Xiamen to Chongqing were cancelled, with some others delayed, and flights from Fuzhou to Kunming were also disrupted due to difficulties in defrosting at the Chongqing and Kunming airports.
