Pingnan's government took advice from experts and the?public about the design of the new agricultural market on May 11. Attendees voted on the proposals, according to designers’ explanation.

The market is situated in the west of Xihuan Road in the county’s downtown areas. The 2-hectare project will integrate parking lots, supermarkets and agricultural trade.

It will expand the urban area westward, in addition to meeting residents’ daily needs.
