The brand “Dehong Coffee” has recently won a certificate of registration for farm produce geographical indication, the first of its kind in the area, according to the trademark office of the State Administration of Industry and Commerce.
The trademark, owned by the prefecture association of agricultural science societies, will play a positive role in pushing the development of the local coffee industry.
