1. Candidates of Standing Committee members, whose votes are more than half of all deputies, are elected.

2. If candidate votes of Chairman, Vice-Chairmen and Secretary-General are no more than half of all deputies, other candidates are nominated by Presidium to be elected.

NPC Standing Committee office term is five years.

Standing Committee Chairman and Vice-Chairmen shall serve no more than two consecutive terms

Office term for other members is not restricted

No one on Standing Committee shall hold office in administrative, judicial or procuratorial state organs

Those who hold office mentioned above shall resign from office to standing committees as members of there.
