Age limit for foreign adopters

The China Center of Children’s Welfare and Adoption gives priority to the acceptance and examination of the adoption application of the foreign adopters if both the husband and wife are at least 30 years of age and less than 50 years of age, and arrange the adopted children to them. For the adoption of children with special needs, both the husband and wife are at least 30 years of age and less than 55 years of age.
