According to the Huangshan Mountain management regulations submitted to the Standing Committee of the NPC, Huangshan Mountain is planning to carry out tourist number controls and issue punishments to those who use open fires or break into closed-off zones.
The regulations also state that the administrative committee of the Mountain will be in charge of deciding, publicizing and implementing tourist number control schemes, with the committee authorized to limit their numbers.
More noticeable is the regulations' position against the use of fire and exploration in closed-off zones. Those who break this rule will face fines of between 1000 and 3000 yuan ($160 - $480).
