Photography exhibition shows charm of Wudang

The 2013 Xidi Hongcun Village Cup China Yixian Photography Exhibition showcases the work of five photographers who focused on Wudang Mountains from Nov 2 to 6.

The 2013 Xidi Hongcun Village Cup China Yixian Photography Exhibition which was held in Yixian county, Huangshan city in Anhui province from Nov 2 to 6, also showcased the work of five photographers who focused on Wudang Mountains, wudangshan.gov.cn reported.

The China Photographers Association invited Wudang Mountains authorities to select 40 pictures of five photographers, including Chen Xinhua, the director of the Wundang Mountains Photographers Association.

These photos showed the scenery of Wudang Mountains, and also focused on Wudang kung fu and Taoist culture.

This year’s exhibition, which was jointly organized by the China Photographers Association and the Huangshan municipal people’s government, included about 3,000 photos on 10 subjects.

Eight forums on photography were held during the event, and Sina Weibo and Tencent Weibo, two popular Chinese micro-blogging websites, showed photos of the exhibition.
