Situated in the northern part of Anhui where Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Anhui provinces meet, Huaibei is the center of the Huaihai Economic Area. It governs three districts and one county, i.e. Xiangshan, Duji and Lieshan districts and Suixi county. It has an area of 2,802 square km and a population of 2.1 million.
Huaibei city boasts a superb geological position and rich tourism resources. The major tourist attractions here include the Xiangshan Mountain Forest Park, Longji Mountain Forest Park, Nanhu Lake Park and Linhuan Red Tour Scenic Zone.
