What is real in love? The play This Is Real produced by renowned Taiwan-based dramatist Stan Lai's Performance Workshop may offer an answer or at least draw the audience into deeper thoughts to find out their own answers.

To be staged in Guangzhou on Nov 16 and 17, This Is Real is directed by Ismene Ting, a chief member of the workshop. The play was inspired by a 300-word essay written by Eileen Chang, which tells a regrettable story about a girl who misses the opportunity to start a relationship with her Mr Right.
