Because some believe the world will end in 2012, Taiwan rock band Mayday is taking their Noah's Ark concert across the mainland to invite audiences to join the last revelry and ignite hopes for the future with uplifting songs about youth and dreams.

The band is known for special stage settings. It previously performed alongside a giant Transformer and will use projections of the deep ocean to create the ark feeling for its upcoming show.

After anchoring in Guangzhou on Oct 19, Mayday's Noah's Ark will sail to other cities, including Changsha in Hunan province and Hefei in Anhui province.
