Large Medium SmallOscar-winning composer Tan Dun thought about birds when he invited crossover singer Dadawa to work with him.
The musicians will present impromptu performances with 12 birds. Tan will also conduct the China Broadcast Folk Orchestra and Shanghai Folk Music Orchestra, crossing over into new genres and blurring the lines between art and music.
Dadawa, who's celebrated both in China and the West, will engage in an experimental and natural musical dialogue with birds and instruments.
