Actor Liu Ye (pictured) returned from his honeymoon to show up at Only Gold's new products launch ceremony, to promote his Boundless Love series of six gold necklaces.
Liu helped design the necklace and spent six months thinking up the necklace's shape.
"It has the shape of a traditional golden lock: There is a heart in a lock, which means sharing the romantic memories with your lover," Liu said, admitting it was "brave" to combine a lock with a necklace.
He said his French wife inspired his work: "I wanted to design something for my lover. It had to be something very Chinese, and I came up with the lock necklace idea."
Liu rose to stardom by taking the lead role in the movie Lan Yu. He also worked with Meryl Streep in the movie Dark Matter. He has also released several singles.
