Man lies to wife about winning lottery to test love

Updated: 2009-08-19 09:32 A man in Shiyan, Hubei province, lied to his wife that he had been robbed after cashing a winning lottery ticket last Wednesday, saying he wanted to "test her loyalty". Xiao Hui, Du's wife, had once joked that she cared more about money than her husband's safety. Du phoned Xiao and said he had hit a 10-million-yuan ($1.46 million) jackpot but was robbed soon after he cashed the prize.
