Scenic spots:

Located in eastern Hainan, Qionghai city lies at the mouth of Wanquan River. Although called a city, Qionghai actually refers to a large land area in Hainan. Qionghai city is next to Boao, a town located next to it and famous for the Boao Forum for Asia.

Local food:

Yiba, a common snack in Hainan province, is a kind of glutinous rice cake that has a sweet filling. The snack is usually stuffed with grinded peanuts, sesame, coconut meat and mixed with sugar before putting into the steam box.
