Li Na is a Chinese professional tennis player. In 2011, she defeated top-seeded Italian Francesca Schiavone, who had won the French Open singles the year before, and consequently won the Grand Slam championship, making her the first Chinese player in history to grab the title. After a long and rough year, Li won second place at the 2013 Australian Open Tennis Championship.
