Geri Halliwell has designed a signature dress in both red and navy to reflect the different sides of her personality.
The former Spice Girls singer and children's author is launching a range of evening dresses for high street store Next and modelled designs on both her own look and inspired by the Duchess of Cambridge's sister, Pippa Middleton.
She said: "There's one dress design I've got called the 'Geri'. It's an asymmetric, one shouldered, bias cut dress - a look I've often worn. It comes in red or navy to reflect the two different sides of my personality.
"The Navy is classic, reflecting my more reserved moments. The red? Totally attention seeking!
Referring to an Alice Temperley dress Pippa wore to the evening party of her sister's wedding in April, she added: "Each design is available in a choice of colours. I've even done one in that Pippa Middleton green."
Geri - who's former band mate, Victoria Beckham has also remodelled herself as a fashion designer - said her years in the spotlight have taught her a great deal about how to design and dress women.
She added to Hello! magazine: "When a woman has to dress for a special occasion, she can feel incredibly body conscious. I've been in red carpet situations for 14 years. You always want to create an impression.
"But I know that great style and glamour isn't just about money. I wanted to come up with evening wear that is glamorous but affordable too. I know the shapes that can help a woman look a million dollars."
